Library resources:
Remember libraries? Public libraries in Australia offer a wide range of resources for self-directed learning, including books, e-books, and online tutorials. And you don’t even need to set foot in one either, these days. The Libby App, by Overdrive is utilised by most libraries in Australia. You can download a copy here.
Networking and mentoring:
Joining a professional association in your field or connecting with a mentor can be a great way to learn from experienced professionals and gain new insights and knowledge.
Free webinars and seminars:
Many companies and organizations offer free webinars and seminars on various topics related to their industry, which can be a great way to learn new skills and knowledge. Have a look at your local business hub. You’ll be suprised at how many valuable workshops and seminars they will be holding for FREE!

Government-funded programs:
Fee-Free TAFE is an initiative of the Australian Government.
As part of the October 2022-23 Budget, the Australian Government partnered with state and territory governments to establish a $1 billion 12-month Skills Agreement to deliver 180,000 Fee-Free TAFE and vocational educational places from January 2023.
